Caring through Conversations

Student Advisory Board

In order to ensure that the SSC remains student-centric in its approach and services, the Centre is supported by a Student Advisory Board. The Board is comprised of nominated members from the student community who are invested in mental health advocacy. Board members change periodically according to initiative, availability and expertise. The duties of the Board are as follows -

· To meet regularly and form a cohesive unit working closely with the SSC towards the holistic growth and wellness of MAHE students
· To act as conduits between student groups in different institutes and the SSC
· To act as mentors to students in their institutes, by identifying, supporting and referring students in need of counseling to the SSC
· To collaborate and support any outreach and awareness campaigns
· To give constructive feedback and suggestions for how the SSC can be better tuned to student requirements
